To use this function, go to the "More actions…" drop-down menu and select the "Update assets" option. It helps to improve and shorten the process of creating XML files, significantly reducing the package size. To avoid including any unwanted resources, it is a good idea to use the "Update assets" option before exporting SCORM. The import will run in background, and you will receive a notification email when it is completed.

#CREATE A SCORM PACKAGE ZIP FILE#
Select the required zip file and click on the Upload button underneath. To import the lesson back to mAuthor, click on the Import option in the top-right toolbarand choose Import lesson. Click on a given link, choose a name for your file, and save it to a convenient place on your computer. The presentation export will run in background, and you will receive a notification email when it is completed.

To perform the export, select the "Export SCORM 2004/offline" or "Export SCORM 1.2/offline" (depending on the SCORM version you need) option from the drop-down menu Export in the top-right toolbar. It is possible to create SCORM 2004 and SCORM 1.2 packages and while exporting your content, you may decide which version you'd like to use. These packages can be later imported back to the platform in case of any emergency event. MAuthor offers the possibility of exporting each presentation's resources individually to a SCORM package.
